Beaches are plenty on Penang Island,
so are many up
market beach resorts. Sometimes the
water around is somehow brown (due to
sediment), it wont matter much since every
resort has swimming pools.
Anyway its the
right destination for beach comber who don't
want to walk to far and always like to have
some infrastructure around, there are no
real secluded beaches, except by taking a boat and explore
the coast from the Oceanside. |

have fine white to yellow sand and some are
dotted with huge granite boulder as you can

beach around Batu Ferringhi Penang is the
most busy
one,
you can have what you |
expect on a
beach, like swimming, sun bathing,
paragliding, jet ski and you will
find always some restaurants near
the Penang beach for some quick
tasty stuff.
In the
evening plenty of beautiful restaurants
offer all kind of food
just across the road separating them from the beach hotels.
One very good thing is that most Penang beach resorts have

direct access to the beach, the are not
separated from the beach via a road or similar.
Villas, bungalows, apartments are along the north and north east beach,
many in a superb beachfront location allowing you to indulge your dreams with a Penang beach vacation.

Penang Island has plenty of beach
resorts. Especially around Batu Ferringhi is the right place
for beach comber.
On the other side of the road are some sea food
restaurants in local styling they becoming very lively in the
evening.
Penang's beautiful sandy beaches with some granite
boulder are just of the right size to have the real feeling of a
tropical island beach.
Since the slogan is.. Malaysia
truly Asia, its a real tropical Asian island beach, with a
Islam touch.

most beaches are huge high rise apartment buildings with plenty
of people from the Arab Peninsular occupying

spacious apartments. The first address on the beach side is Batu
Ferringhi Penang. With all this prettybeaches around Penang
naturally has a lot of great beach hotels and resorts, like

There are Penang beach hotels in the
whole price range. Beach accommodation below the hotel level
with very good beach rates and beach rental are there if you are
on a lower budget beach vacation.
On Penang island beaches are plenty of Penang apartments either
for rent or to buy. On the way from Ferringhi to Georgetown it
already becomes a little overcrowded with high rise apartment
blocks near Georgetown.
Get the feeling its a little to much
populated ? no problem instead of Penang try Langkawi
further north towards the Thai border, its exactly the opposite
in terms of population.
In any case Penang Malaysia is a nice place, have a look into
the Penang satellite map to have a better idea on the location
of Penang's beaches. It s a truly tropical setting with beautiful
views and beautiful sandy beaches, just like they say in the visit
Malaysia commercials.. Malaysia truly Asia.
